Creating an Asset Management Sub-Account
- After logging in, select "Sub-Accounts" under your profile icon.
- Click "Create Sub-Account."
Fill in the required details and configure the account based on your preferences:
- Login Name
- Account Type: Asset Management Sub-Account
- Trading Team Account: Enter the UID to bind the account*
- Advanced Settings: Trading preferences
- Advanced Settings: Deposit permissions**
Binding a trading team UID is optional at this stage and can be done later.
*Deposit permissions are enabled by default but can be disabled if needed.Click "Submit All" to finalize.
- Use "Save All" to save as a draft.
- Multiple drafts can be created via "Add New Draft."
- Complete two-factor authentication (2FA) to finish the setup.
Binding Sub-Accounts to a Trading Team
- If no UID was bound earlier, click "Bind Trading Team Account."
- Select up to 15 sub-accounts to link, then proceed.
- Enter the trading team’s UID (obtain this in advance) and click "Next."
- Verify via 2FA to complete binding.
- Successful binding will show as "Bound."
Transferring Funds to Sub-Accounts
- Navigate to "Funds Transfer."
- Select the currency, enter the amount, and confirm.
Transferring Funds Between Custodial Sub-Accounts
- Go to "Sub-Accounts."
- Click "Operation" > "Custodial Sub-Account Settings."
- Enable "Allow Transfers Between Custodial Sub-Accounts" under "Withdrawals."
- Initiate transfers via API.
Unbinding Sub-Accounts
- Select "Under Custody" > "Unbind."
- Choose up to 15 sub-accounts to unbind and proceed.
- Complete 2FA to finalize.
Post-unbinding, delete unused sub-accounts for better management.

Becoming a Trading Team
- Requirements: OKX account with VIP Level ≥ 1. Contact BD managers for approval.
Trading via Sub-Accounts
- Navigate to "API" under your profile.
On the API key page:
- Select the client sub-account under "Customer Accounts."
- Click "Create API Keys."
- Enable "Trading" permissions.

Adjust what investors can view:
- Go to "Sub-Accounts" > "Customer Accounts."
- Select "Operation" > "Asset Management Sub-Account Settings."
- Modify "History" permissions as agreed with clients.
Unbinding Sub-Accounts
Note: Only sub-accounts with zero trading volume for 3 months and balances under 1,000 USDT can be unbound.
Manual Unbinding
- Navigate to "Customer Accounts" > "Under Custody."
- Follow prompts to unbind.
Auto-Unbinding
- Enable "Auto-Unbind" under "Sub-Account Settings."
